Teaching Artist Statement
Having the opportunity to work with many great teachers and choreographers throughout her training and career, Michele is thrilled to impart all that she has learned with her students. She is proud to bring encouragement and a positive atmosphere to all her classes.
Teaching Bio
Michele is a former company and faculty member of José Mateo Ballet Theatre. She began her teaching career at SSC through JMBT’s satellite program, and has been teaching for over 18 years throughout the South Shore area. She holds a BA from University of New Hampshire in theatre and dance, and received her earlier training from Boston Ballet and Ballet Theatre of Boston. In addition to José Mateo Ballet Theatre, Davis has performed with UNH Dance Company and Seacoast Ballet. She brings a wonderful warmth and joy to her classes.
