Meghan Vecchione

Teaching Artist Statement
I consider myself a nurturing teacher, who found my love for teaching while volunteering at a childhood afterschool program. I wished to support and help students as my teacher had done for me. I love seeing the joy and excitement that music and movement bring my students and hope to help them understand the many ways these can support them in life. I believe the arts are very beneficial across all subjects of learning and students' social-emotional learning.
