Hailey Deltano

Teaching Artist Statement
I take a student-centered, holistic approach to teaching. The voice is a part of us, an extension of who we are and how we communicate with the outside world. In my lessons, I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and pressure-free environment where students can explore and grow without fear of judgment. My goal is to help each student develop healthy and sustainable skills, while also building trust, self-awareness, and musicianship. I want students to feel seen and for them to be comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and expressing themselves. I strive to nurture each student through my own love of music and share the joy and curiosity that inspires me every day.
