Creative Arts Therapies Program Manager, Music Therapist
Teaching Artist Statement
Music transcends the barriers of language, status, race, age, and ability. It creates common ground with ease, communicating through feeling and emotion. Music lights up the brain in ways that seem like magic but are grounded in science. I am thankful to be able to use this tool to reach underserved communities and believe in access to the arts for every person, regardless of socioeconomic status or neurotype.
