Fran Christino, Kindergarten Co-Teacher

Teaching statement
I believe children’s play is their work towards forming a genuine, positive self-image. A child’s self-image is a lifelong developmental process towards encouraging their intellectual growth. Teachers provide a balanced curriculum, developing teaching and parental strategies to encourage success and foster kind interactions. This contributes to children’s realistic awareness of their strengths and challenges. Teacher create learning environments that foster children’s growing understanding of themselves as worthy, capable, interesting people. My goal for our students is to instill trust, promote independence, foster friendship, and encourage success during their education.
