Ava Clancy

Music Together/Early Childhood

A Hingham native, Ava Clancy was first exposed to music through Music Together classes at the age of six months. Throughout elementary, middle, and high school, she participated in school theatre productions and took various instrument lessons. Currently a double major in environmental studies and music at Bates College, Ava continues practicing music through her academics and extracurriculars– playing electric bass in a campus band and acting as the music director for her college a cappella group. She was trained as a Music Together teacher in 2019 and has a strong passion for early childhood education and a fascination for the ways music can aid social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development in children. Ava is grateful to learn, play, sing, and grow with Music Together at South Shore Conservatory since 2022.
