Teacher Statement
Each child brings such joy into our classroom every day. I love greeting your child each morning and helping them decide where they'd like to begin their day. Whether it's reading a book, working with play dough, or playing in the kitchen area, it's a joy to share those moments with them. Watching each child grow throughout the school year is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. From those first days, when they may be a little timid, to the moment they come bounding in with wonderful stories to tell—it's truly special to witness their journey.
Teaching Bio
Alison graduated from Salve Regina University in 1991 with a degree in Marketing. While raising her daughters, she began substituting in the Hingham Public Schools, where her passion for teaching quickly became evident. This led her to several years of teaching at North Street Play School and later at Hingham Nursery School. In 2024, Alison joined SSC as a preschool teacher. Inspired by the program, she pursued educational courses, officially earning her EEC Teacher Certification and is excited to continue nurturing a love of learning in her students each day.
