Kindergarten teacher Karen Peterson loves working with children. She received her master's degree in Elementary Education from Lesley University and taught both first and second grade in the Marshfield school system. Understanding the power of the arts in education, she taught her students using an interdisciplinary approach to the curriculum. As a mother, Karen brought her two girls to Music Together classes all the time. This inspired her to become a Music Together teacher where she shared her joy of singing and movement with families in a safe, fun musical community where all could thrive. Karen was hired as a Music Together teacher at the South Shore Conservatory in 2015, and joined the kindergarten staff in 2016.
