Welcome to South Shore Conservatory

Providing access to exceptional arts education and performance for the South Shore community, fostering creativity, artistic growth, and well-being for individuals of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

At South Shore Conservatory, bringing people together through the arts is our passion. For more than 45 years we have inspired people on the South Shore and beyond to embrace music, drama and dance. SSC strives to make the arts accessible to all, removing barriers to participation, and welcoming everyone in, regardless of ability or circumstances.  From the youngest students in our children's music classes and arts-based preschool and kindergarten, to students of all ages enrolled in individual music lessonsensembles, or our palette of Arts for a Creative Life adult programs, we have something for everyone.

Beyond music, our arts offerings include drama classesmusical theatredance and ballet classesmusic therapy and a variety Jazz/Rock/Pop Department programs. In addition, SSC’s Creative Arts Therapies programs provides avenues for self-expression, inspiration, and hope, supporting the mental, emotional, and physical health of some of our community's more fragile members. Through Community Partnerships, SSC reaches out to communities where the arts are less accessible, and brings the arts right to their doorstep.

If you're looking for first-rate concerts and performances, there is always something to enjoy at either of our state-of-the-art facilities in Duxbury and Hingham. Discover what is here for you!
