Teaching Artist Statement
One of my favorite parts of teaching is watching students realize they are capable of playing the music that they love on their own instrument. I feel lucky to teach the guitar, an instrument at the heart of so many different styles of music. In my lessons, I work with students to ensure that they have the necessary technical and theoretical skills to succeed while simultaneously working on the music that drew them to the guitar in the first place.
