Teaching Artist Statement
As an artist, I operate on the firm belief that every person can learn music from any age or starting point. Each individual learns differently, and we have unique life experience, background, and culture, which leads us to grasp material in our own specific way. I strive to guide each student to recognize and utilize their strengths and interests, so that they can take ownership of their craft, even from a beginning stage.
