Robert Cinnante

South Shore Conservatory President Robert Cinnante previously served as Executive Director at Waterbury Symphony Orchestra in Connecticut. While there, Robert undertook the humbling endeavor of helping an 83-year-old institution to thrive again in an ever-changing community, ultimately strengthening the bond between the orchestra and the community. This resulted in new programmatic offerings and initiatives, supported by record fundraising and box office activity, and has paved the way for access to a broader constituency. As Director of Education & Outreach at Virginia Opera, Robert focused on the interdisciplinary enlistment of stakeholders in education, government, philanthropy, and the arts. This was the driving force behind the turnaround of a statewide program, and produced an exponential increase in revenue and reach, as well as enhanced visibility and artistic quality. A tenor, he received his BM and MM from New England Conservatory.
