SSC Memory Café

In-person SSC Memory Cafes are at the Ellison Center for the Arts, Duxbury.

This social based gathering is offered for those individuals living with dementia and Alzheimer’s, and their care-partners, in the safety and comfort of their own homes. For the virtual session all you need is access to the internet, a computer with internal or external sound, and a ZOOM link.

Come join us for some social time, music and movement, and of course, fun. Participants may attend as many sessions as they wish, and choose their own level of interaction and participation. There is no cost to participate and we are grateful to the Grafton Foundation for their generous support. Registration is the only requirement so that you may obtain the ZOOM link. Call 781-749-7565 x10 to register.

Caren Harrison, Social Day Program Manager Councils on Aging

“Having the opportunity to have lighthearted conversations and sharing laughter is normalizing and so important to memory impaired seniors. [Meeting] other seniors with memory issues and their caregivers...has been an added bonus.”
