Teaching Artist Statement
The ability to pass on the art of dance and keep it alive is a true honor. Like most art forms, dance is constantly evolving, therefore the approach of the teacher must evolve and adapt too. Pledging only to teach with mindfulness, the safety of the dancers' growing body is my priority. This can be achieved by utilizing innovative techniques, training muscle memory and gaining a deeper understanding of execution. Through a methodical, structured class format, creative and critical thinking skills can flourish, and the dancer can connect with their audience and allow their visual art to shine.
