Anna Bradford is a freelance oboist and music educator in the Boston area. She is a member of the Kalliope Reed Quintet, the Cape Ann Symphony, and the Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra, and also frequently appears with other orchestras around New England. As a soloist, Dr. Bradford was named the winner of the 2014 Ralph Gomberg Oboe Competition by the Boston Woodwind Society. Dr. Bradford is also a dedicated and passionate teacher, and is currently on the faculty at the All-Newton Music School, the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras, the Dana Hall School of Music, the Fenn School, and the Community Music Center of Boston. She holds a Doctorate of the Musical Arts from Boston University, a Master’s of Music from Indiana University, and a Bachelor of Music degree from Western Michigan University. Her principal teachers have been Robert Sheena, Andrew Price, Linda Strommen, and Dr. Michael Miller.
