For students either getting started or already engaged in lessons, the program delves into musical concepts, including music theory, history, and performance practices within the context of level-appropriate repertoire. Students also gain experience working with each other across different age groups in a guided form of mentorship and student teaching. For more advanced students, the curriculum aids in preparation for RCM exams, competitions, or auditions. Advanced participants will also explore nuanced aspects of musicianship, such as effective practice strategies, harmony, memorization, stage presence, competition readiness, and interpretation.
