What is a masterclass?
A masterclass is a unique event in which a special master teacher instructs a small number of students in front of an audience, who are also learners.

What are the topics?
Voice technique, style, acting, presentation, musical arrangements, stage skills, and preparation for performance and habits of excellence that help with performance nervousness and vocal health.

Who is Dianne Legro?
Ms. Legro has been a professional singer since age 11 and has enjoyed an international career as a performer and teaching artist. She studied American Songbook performance as a Cabaret Fellow at The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center with cabaret legends Margaret Whiting, Julie Wilson, Craig Carnelia, Ervin Drake, Andrea Marcovicci and others.

How do I sign up to sing?
Teachers will submit names of interested and ready students (and their repertoire) to Emily Browder Melville by email by Friday, October 20. Names will be chosen randomly from the list and announced on Monday, October 23. Students who work with Ms. Legro will also perform their pieces at the All-Voice Recital at 5 pm.

How do I sign up to observe?
Sign-up sheets will be posted at both campuses. But even if you don't get around to signing up, please come!

All-Voice Recital: 5-6 pm
This recital is open to all SSC voice students who would like to perform. Sign-up sheets will be posted at both campuses. We look forward to hearing you!
