Kathy Battistoni Skillman, Vice Chairman, was born and raised in Saranac Lake, NY and earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY as a Biology / Psychology major. She earned a Masters Degree in Counseling from the University of Vermont before launching into a career in management consulting at Accenture , then known as Arthur Andersen. There, she rose to the position of Partner and helped build the firm's Human Capital Transformation practice and later led the Workforce Transformation for the Americas team. Her focus was on helping organizations and executive teams address the challenges resulting from implementing technologies (both custom and package); changes to strategy; and addressing marketplace, workforce and industry trends. Following Accenture, she served as Managing Director in Personal and Workplace Investing at Fidelity Investments with responsibility for their largest outsourcing and investment client. Then, in 2012, she launched and ran the Boston office for North Highland Worldwide Consulting. She is currently a Partner at KB Partners, LLC., a consulting solutions firm focusing on change management; organizational and process design; strategy and executive leadership coaching. She is a member of the University of Vermont's Foundation Leadership Council and was the 2015 commencement speaker for the Graduate School at the University. In addition to her work with the South Shore Conservatory, Kathy is also a mentor at both Year Up and Boston Partners in Education, and a guest lecturer in change management at Suffolk University School of Business. Kathy and her husband Warren have volunteered and hosted concerts, dinners and meetings for the Duxbury Music Festival since 2010. Kathy and her son, Nicholas are both piano students of Ed Broms.

William Gagnon, Treasurer, Trustee since 2008; Founder and President of The Gagnon Group, providing tax consulting, compliance and technology services to some of the largest and smallest companies in the world; current Board member and finance committee chair at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Plymouth; past President of the Duxbury Education Foundation; involved in many other local and national charity organizations including the Duxbury Art Association, the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
David W. Bryan, Trustee since 1992; former CEO, Avedis Ziljian Company, maker of cymbals and other percussion instruments; previously VP and Corporate Officer of Sara Lee Corporation and President of its Aris-Isotoner and Fuller Brush divisions; Trustee and Vice-Chair of Manomet Center for Conservation Sciences; lives in Hingham and sometimes Key West; amateur guitar player.

Barbara S. Fred Clifford, Jr., Trustee since 2008; Career marketing and PR profressional with expertise in travel and tourism, served as travel trade manager, Canadian marketing manager, domestic PR manager and director of European marketing for the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism; marketing manager at CO Environmental; strategic consultant to travel and tourism and non-profit organizations. Currently Director of ImprovAsylum IA Meetings, promoting workshops and corporate training in the meeting and conference market; former member, VP and President, Duxbury Education Foundation.

William C. Haney, Trustee since 2012; Currently CEO and director of BISAM, a financial technology company based in Paris and director of Big Win Philanthropy, a global foundation that invests in children and young people in developing countries He formerly led several divisions at Thomson Reuters, the global information services company serving asset managers, bankers, and corporations, and was an economic consultant with The Services Group, advising developing countries in Latin America and Africa on export-led growth strategies. William received a BA in Economics from Northwestern University and an MBA in Finance and Public Policy from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. His wife and three children have been active in the Conservatory as ongoing supporters and students.
Debra Cammer Hines, Trustee since 2013; Principal, Ernst&Young; former Vice President, International Business Machines (IBM); Former Partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting; Former Policy Analyst, White House Office of Management and Budget. Top 25 Consultants by Consulting Magazine in 2007; recipient of the 2009 University of Maryland alumni award for professional achievements and humanitarian efforts; frequent writer and presenter on public sector management issues and co-authored the book, Managing Public Dollars: New Rules, New Roles, New Opportunities for Federal Financial Managers, a guide to Federal CFOs and financial managers. Timothy W. Horan, Trustee since 2016, Overseer since 2004; Chair of SSC Human Resources Committee, former member of Overseer Leadership Council. Former V.P of Human Resources, Gillette Latin America, former V.P. of Human Resources Gillette Personal Care Group for North America and Western Europe, former Director of Human Resources for Gillette World Shaving Headquarters in South Boston. Former member of Advisory Board for Fair Trade USA, former V.P. of Board of Directors Roxbury Federation of Neighborhood Houses and former Board of Directors member, South Boston Neighborhood House. Current volunteer at the Talking Information Center, a broadcast service for the blind.
Erin D. Hull, Trustee since 2013; Former Deputy Director of Street Law, Inc., an international human rights and legal education organization. Former Program Director for the National Crime Prevention Council and the National Institute for Citizen Education in the Law. Currently serving on the Parent Steering Committee for the Inly School, volunteering for the Inly Annual Fund campaign, and serving as the Community Representative for the Vinal School Improvement Committee in Norwell. Parent of two children, a current and a former Conservatory student. Other interests include gardening, travelling, and raising sheep.
F. Sherman Hoyt, Trustee since 2003; Retired financial executive; Trustee of the Green Mountain Valley School and helped found the Duxbury Bay Maritime School. Founder of Cambridge Research and Instrumentation now merged into Perkin Elmer and of Optical Corporation of America now merged into Corning. Commissioned officer in the U S Naval Reserve from 1955-1958. Graduate of Williams College '55 and Harvard Business School '60 and raced on the Williams ski team in all alpine and nordic events. Piano lessons from Stephen Deitz and outreach vision led to enthusiastic support of SSC.
Daniel K. Kingsbury, Trustee since 2011; Former CEO of Pioneer Investments US Division, and former CEO and President of Pioneer Investment Management Inc. Dan received his BA from Johns Hopkins University and his MBA from New York University. Dan lives in Hingham with his wife and three children, all of whom have studied at the Conservatory. In addition to his service to SSC, Dan acted as Trustee to the Inner City Scholarships Fund from 2008 to 2014.

Richard H.
