"Last summer was my second year participating in SVI, and I learned more than I thought was possible in the short amount of time. The experience gave me new techniques and showed me different aspects of my voice that I didn't know existed. It was a wonderful chance to get to know my voice better and have a great time doing it. The hard work that paid off, along with the amazing people I got to work with, made it an experience I'll never forget."
- Chrissy Whalen,
SVI Canto student 2011

"I liked SVI because I got to meet a lot of nice people and I made a lot of friends. I learned a bunch of new songs and overcame my fear of singing in front of people."
- Kate Sullivan,
SVI Mezzo student 2011

"I felt so much more confident about my singing by the
end of the 10 days,
and it was so much fun!"
- Madison Tower,
SVI Canto 2010

"It was a really great opportunity for me to learn more repertoire and to participate in large ensemble numbers. I loved the yoga in the morning; it helped me to keep my singing both relaxed and energized."
- Alex Nuesse,
SVI 2009 participant
