Pure Harmony is a diverse community of students in grades 6-9 who are interested in developing their voices as singers and young people through song and meaningful social connections. Rehearsals are on Tuesday afternoons from 4:15-5:30 pm at our Duxbury campus October 4, 2016 through June 13, 2017.
In Pure Harmony, we use music as an empowerment tool. Our holistic approach promotes the voice as an expressive outlet to help young people feel confident in what they have to say: body, mind, and spirit. Community-based performances (e.g., at senior centers, etc.), inspiring song choices, and the fundamental joy of ensemble singing support positive social connections. Pure Harmony fosters a peer-led culture that welcomes all who want to sing.
