Peter Mundt, South Shore Conservatory Youth Chorus conductor

Peter Mundt

Teaching Artist Statement
Peter Mundt’s ultimate goal is for his students to love singing and performing more than they did before they met him.  He provides students with exciting musical experiences that challenge them in a safe and supportive environment.  Mr. Mundt does not believe in auditions at the elementary level.  The only requirements are a genuine desire to sing, and showing kindness and respect for everyone in the group!  He also likes to occasionally add solos, acting or movement to enhance a song and make it more fun to perform!

Peter joined the SSC faculty in 2017 as Conductor of the SSC Youth Chorus in 2017 and the JRP faculty in 2018, teaching guitar and bass.

When he’s not teaching or performing, Peter enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, Adeline, Oskar and Rudi.
