SSC Kindergarten Program
Hingham Campus

South Shore Conservatory's arts-principled full-day kindergarten program combines traditional components of kindergarten, such as learning readiness and letter/number recognition, with considerable exposure to the performing arts. This innovative program sensitizes the student's natural learning process by using the arts as an educational tool, and prepares students to assimilate comfortably into any first grade program.
The kindergarten program serves as a nurturing outlet for creative expression, and as extended outlets of the Conservatory's Preschool and Pre-K programs. Arts components include vocal and instrumental music, dance, drama and expressive arts, all presented by South Shore Conservatory faculty members. Visual arts are presented by outside artists.
