Julienne Thornell, trombone

Teaching Artist Statement
Learning an instrument teaches life skills of commitment, perseverance, dedication, focus, organization, and expression. As an educator and performer, I encourage students of all levels to challenge themselves, find success by meeting their individual goals, and make connections with others through ensemble opportunities. Music participation helps students become supporters of the arts, as well as life-long musicians, at whatever level they may be.
