Horn Workshop
Tips for Teaching Beginning and Intermediate French Horn

This workshop is designed to help band directors improve their teaching and playing skills on French horn. Megan Riccio, South Shore Conservatory faculty member and professional horn player, will share her teaching strategies, help identify common issues in beginning and intermediate players, provide feedback on playing technique and answer questions. Ms. Riccio will also address issues beyond playing including:

Much of this workshop is hands-on, so please bring a horn with you to play, if possible. If you cannot bring one, there will be some extra instruments available.
