Teaching Artist Statement
I believe that private music lessons help people grow. I always strive to make my lessons fun and challenging, while helping the student discover what they really enjoy in music. There is nothing more rewarding for both teacher and student than seeing something “click” for the student after they’ve put in time and effort.

Teaching Bio
Jesse Stiglich studied both orchestral percussion and drum set at UMass Lowell, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance with an emphasis in Music Business in May 2014. He has been teaching since 2010 and joined South Shore Conservatory in 2015. Jesse teaches at both the Hingham and Duxbury campuses giving private percussion lessons and teaching Time Train. He also currently teaches at Indian Hill Music and Cape Cod Conservatory.

Performance Bio
Throughout his years of study at UMass Lowell, Jesse Stiglich played in many different ensembles including the University Wind Ensemble, University Orchestra, Jazz/Rock Big Band, Percussion Ensemble, and more. Since 2012, Jesse has performed professionally throughout Massachusetts in different settings such as pit orchestras, jazz combos, symphony orchestras, and rock bands.
