Teaching Artist Statement
Everyone has a unique story to tell and something valuable to share with an audience.  In making theater, we create a community.  We share a common space, experience emotions and leave changed having shared an experience to which no one else can lay claim.  As a teacher, my role is create a safe space where students can explore, create and connect with themselves thereby building on strengths and overcoming challenges. My goal is to support my students with enthusiasm, openness and honesty.

Teaching Bio
Kristina received her BA in English and Theatre from Boston College and has been teaching or directing Theatre and Improv in some capacity for almost 20 years. She has studied at ImprovBoston, ImprovAsylum, Williamstown Theater Festival, and numerous master classes and festival workshops.  Most recently, she had the pleasure of studying with Charna Halpern.

Performance Bio
Currently a member of ImprovBoston’s Mainstage and Improv Asylum’s NXT cast, Kristina has been performing most of her life.  With experience in theater, improv, video, playwriting, design, and production, Kristina refuses to be limited.  Favorite roles have included Lily in Freedom of the City, Liz Morden in Our Country’s Good, and Mrs. White in Clue.  She also has a handful of film and commercial credits to her name. Kristina has also had the pleasure of performing and teaching at numerous festivals across the country.
