Teaching Statement
Students should be exposed to curriculum that inspires them to learn, share ideas, have a voice and succeed emotionally, socially and academically. Our arts-integrated curriculum validates the various learning styles of all children, and provides them with multiple opportunities for them to express their knowledge. A kindergarten classroom should be a community where teachers, specialists and families work together to provide the highest quality education. I believe that through creating this arts-integrated kindergarten curriculum, I can continue to graduate intelligent, kind, passionate students with a life-long appreciation for the arts.
